Cindy grew up summering in Scituate. Peggotty Beach, the cliffs and the North and South Rivers have been her playground most of her life. She has witnessed and watched the changes, good and bad all along the South Shore and tried to do her share to help keep Scituate and the surrounding coastal towns healthy and safe. She loves sharing its beauty with family, friends and anyone interested.
She has been gardening in Scituate for over 50 years. She is an avid vegetable and flower gardener and an award winning floral designer! She also loves to cook. Her gardens, the beach and her kitchen in Scituate are still her playground but now she shares it with her eight grandchildren.
Ten years ago she started painting and it is now her new passion. Painting and sharing the fish sculpture for the NSRWA has given her a new way to spread awareness and how important it is to do our share keeping the waterways healthy!
