A Tale of Two Rivers Pontoon Tour

Take a trip with the NSRWA on both the North and the South Rivers! Experience some of the South Shore’s most picturesque views including the river’s mouth and the unique ecosystems of the salt marsh. Learn about the rich shipbuilding history, early life on the rivers, the Portland Gale of 1898, Native American history, as well as the remarkable flora and fauna to be discovered. Depending on the conditions, the tour may include a stop at Scituate’s Rexhame Beach, a popular destination for beach goers.

Cost is $50 for members, $75 for non-members (includes introductory membership). Space is limited to 6.

FAQs

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Roht Marine has donated their docking service to NSRWA free of charge, therefore we don’t want to take up parking spaces for their other paying customers. Parking at Roht Marine is very limited, so we encourage carpooling or drop-offs. If you must park, please do so at the scenic turn off on Rt. 3-A and walk over the bridge. Please arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes prior to departure time. See Google map for parking location.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel with a refund 48 hours before the event, however, membership and credit card fees are non-refundable. If you cancel within 48 hours, we reserve the right to refund 50% of your payment.

WEATHER CANCELLATION: If we need to cancel the event due to weather, we will either give you a refund, or we will reschedule the event. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you will receive a refund of the event fee, less the membership and credit card fees.
