Celebrate the arrival of Fall on a guided river paddle with the NSRWA! The Autumnal Equinox marks the beginning of fall as well as the halfway point between summer and winter. This event includes paddling through the “Crotch” where the Herring Brook and Indian Head meet the North River. This area includes vast marshlands rish with flora and fauna. This is a guided “out and back” paddle exploring the upper reaches of the North River. Meet at the Hanover Public Launch on Indian Head Drive before 5pm. Bring your own vessel. All Participants must bring and wear a well-fitting PFD at all times. Kayaks, SUPs, or canoes welcome. Paddlers 12 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult. Space limited. Participants should be prepared for varying tidal conditions. Please bring your signed ACA waiver to the event.
Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers, which includes fee for ACA insurance waiver.

CANCELLATION POLICY: You may cancel with a refund 48 hours before the event, however, membership and credit card fees are non-refundable. If you cancel within 48 hours, we reserve the right to refund 50% of your payment.
WEATHER CANCELLATION: If we need to cancel the event due to weather, we will either give you a refund, or we will reschedule the event. If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you will receive a refund of the event fee, less the membership and credit card fees.
