NSRWA's New Year's Day Walk 2024 at Melzar Hatch Preserve

Join the North and South Rivers Watershed Association for the 30th Annual New Year’s Day Walk on Monday, January 1st, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00pm.

This years’ event will take place at Wildlands Trust’s Melzar Hatch Preserve.

Parking will be at the Hanover Middle School. Address: 45 Whiting St, Hanover, MA 02339. Trail entrance is along the left side (North) of the school. NSRWA staff/volunteers will be there help you find the trail.

The trail is roughly 2 miles and is mostly flat aside from a couple hills and footbridge crossings. Please walk carefully as fallen leaves may coverup roots and rocks along the path.

This will be a self guided walk, with NSRWA staff/volunteers posted along the way to help provide direction and information.

This is a free event and registration is required. All ages welcome, great for families! Wear comfortable footwear for varying terrain conditions.
