Vernal Pool Discovery and April Showers Walk at Pembroke's Willow Brook Farm

Join NSRWA Environmental Educator and naturalist guide Brian Taylor at the Wildlands Trust Willow Brook Farm Preserve in Pembroke as we explore vernal pools and what makes them unique. We will also discuss water loving animals, vernal pool obligate species, wetland classification and habitats, local flora and fauna, and just have fun looking for anything interesting. A GREAT EVENT FOR FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN ON VACATION FROM SCHOOL!!!

The walk will be held at Willow Brook Farm Preserve in Pembroke off Rt 14 near the Herring Run Park. Families welcome, no dogs please.​ Program is free, however, registration is required.
