Jericho Road State Boat Ramp

Scituate, MA 02066, USA

Scituate Harbormaster: (781) 545-8724

Owned By: Commonwealth of Massachusetts

The Jericho Road State Boat Ramp is a state-owned public boat launch ramp on Scituate Harbor, with ample parking and no fee. Very busy on summer weekends! Courtesy docking with a 15-minute tie-up limit. Also known as the Tom Chessia Boat Ramp. Located near 50 Jericho Road.

NOTE: Beginning April 28, 2025 and continuing until June 15, this ramp will be closed for reconstruction. The Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game’s Office of Fishing and Boating Access (OFBA) will make improvements to the parking lot, adjacent seawall and rip rap armor stones, lighting, and miscellaneous gangway work to improve public access to Scituate Harbor. It’s possible that the facility will reopen earlier, if construction operations are completed ahead of schedule.

FISHING ADVISORY: It’s important to know that some of our fisheries are contaminated with mercury, PFAS and/or other concerning substances. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health maintains an online database with up-to-date advisories regarding fish consumption, sorted by location. We recommend you consult this valuable resource when planning a fishing excursion.
