North Hill Country Club in Duxbury is a public nine-hole golf course. In the winter, when snow is on the ground, it is a popular spot for sledding and cross-country skiing. Managed by JGM for the Town of Duxbury, the property features a clubhouse and a Pro Shop. It is directly adjacent to Waiting Hill Preserve, North Hill Marsh Wildlife Sanctuary, Frederick B. Knapp Town Forest, and Green’s Harbor Path and Kettle Hole Loop.

This land is within the region of the Patuxet Wampanoag tribe, who for centuries inhabited the area around the Jones River now known as Duxbury, Kingston and Plymouth. This grassy, tree-lined property with rolling hills lies within the watershed of West Brook, a tributary to the Duck Hill River.
The Duck Hill River finds its source in West Brook and North Hill Pond. After flowing through the Cow Tent Hill Preserve, it meanders through the Duxbury marshes for quite a distance before flowing into Duxbury Bay.
