An enthusiastic crowd of more than 200 gathered on New Year’s Day to visit the Third Herring Brook Dam Removal Site. This was NSRWA’s 23rd year of ringing in the New Year together by exploring our watershed. This year’s walk, through 100 acres of woodlands, started at the Cardinal Cushing Centers in Hanover and led to the dam removal site on the Third Herring Brook. Once there the participants got to see the progress made on the site and got to hear about what comes next!
